About Hamilton House
We are a busy Plastic Surgery practice (Hamilton House Plastic Surgery) and licensed day surgery (Hamilton House Plastic Surgery) located in Cumberland Park 5 minutes from the CBD. Our facility specialises in skin cancer surgery, hand surgery, and cosmetic surgery. Free parking available.
About the role
30- hours approx/ week (Monday to Friday)
An opportunity exists for a competent flexible individual to join our happy and
professional team. The role includes:
- Nursing care to patients during pre operative, admissions, peri operative,
recovery (for sedation patients) and post op follow up; - Theatre Scrub / Scout duties
- Educate patients in post op care;
- Wound management including removal of sutures and dressings.
Skills and experience
The successful applicant should have the following experience and attributes:
- Current AHPRA registration;
- A high level of practical clinical skills.
- Theatre experience not required but
an interest in this area is essential; - Recovery experience will be highly regarded with up to 2 recovery lists per
week (although this is not the predominate element of the role); - Theatre experience will be highly regarded;
- Current police/employment checks;
- Current CPR, Manual Handling & Hand Hygiene certificates;
- Verified vaccination record.
